I sculpt and paint. My sculptural process employs water based clay, plasticine, and metal. My sculptures are modelled by hand in clay and/or wax. Clay is fired and then may go through a series of glazes, cold color treatments, or mixed media until the patina is judged finished – a process which can take months or even years. Wax models are worked by hand and then cast in in either aluminum or bronze. My paintings are oil, watercolor, and/or ink based.
