Constance Colter
I was raised in the rainforests and on the rivers of the Oregon Cascades. My studio is now located in Gladstone near the confluence of the Clackamas and Willamette rivers.
I first started sculpting in clay and have added metals and even glass to my sculpture practice. The geography of the human figure entrances me. I’ve also started working with oils, acrylic, and watercolors because colors and shapes are so amazing for illuminating portraits and figures.
